Kestral PLS Interfaces
April 2011

Kestral’s Pathology Laboratory System (PLS) provides a total information management solution across many healthcare disciplines. PLS intelligently automates the accurate and complete transfer of information from laboratory instruments to PLS report.

Kestral has provided interfaces to various laboratory instruments analysers, unidirectional, bidirectional, host query and bidirectional query interfaces. PLS is offered as a totally integrated, complete solution, rather than separately installable modules. The entire system shares a common architecture, data storage, and program code.

With over 20 years’ experience developing pathology interfaces to a wide variety of laboratory equipment, Kestral is an Australian leader of pathology interfacing with a vast array of custom interfaces developed. This endeavour is still at the leading edge with new interfaces being added today.

Here are just some interfaces developed in the last few years:

  • Pharmacia Unicap 100

  • iStat

  • Sysmex SP1000i

  • GEM 4000

  • BioRad 10

  • Revelation DSX (Best 2000)

  • ESH Quickscan 2000

  • Elisys Quattro

  • BEP 2000

If you have a specific instrument with which you’d like to interface PLS, contact Kestral and talk to a Support Consultant about your requirements.
